Who Are We?

The Women’s Society of Cyberjutsu (WSC) is a Northern Virginia-based non-profit (501c3 pending) organization passionate about helping and empowering women to succeed in the Cybersecurity field.

We are a community of information security professionals, IT professionals, programmers, computer scientists/engineers as well as women wanting to explore and join the field. We, collectively, promote activities to advance women in information security.

Why Join?

The information technology field, alone, is in high demand with low supply. There is even a higher demand for professionals in information security. Women hold 56% of all professional jobs in the U.S. workforce, but only 25% of IT jobs (ncwit.org). WSC helps bridge that gap and bring women together by providing opportunities, connections, and resources.

WSC encourages women already working in the field as well as aspirants, of all ages, interested in information security to join and expand their knowledge, share resources, and network among peers and mentors.
