Preparation for the CompTIA Security+ Certification Exam

Every Monday for 7 weeks Starting September 9th

Ready to take the next step in your cybersecurity career? Did you set a goal of obtaining a security certification in 2019? The CompTIA Security+ certification is widely recognized and accepted by employers.  It is a useful entry-level certification that can expand your understanding of security concepts and help differentiate you from other job candidates.

This class will be taught by
Marcelle Lee and Dina Haines, both of whom are security practitioners as well as educators, and have passed the most current version of the Security+ certification (SYS-501). Topics include the six domains of the Security+ certification spread over a 7-week period and will feature a combination of lecture, labs, supplemental materials, and discussion of real-world experiences. Sessions will be held online and will be recorded, so no worries if you miss a class. The class also features a chat platform for live discussion during the sessions and for Q&A outside of class time.

This training is offered at a very low price-point to make it attainable for a wider audience. A portion of the registration fee is donated to the Women’s Society of Cyberjutsu and discounted pricing is available for WSC members.
