And the winners are...Introducing the 2019 #cyberjutsuawards Winners

WSC Takes A Look Back at the 6th Annual #CyberjutsuAwards Celebrating #hiddenfigures leading change in #cybersecurity

Las Vegas, NV, August 13th, 2018 — Women and men from around the world came together to support and cheer on the amazing #cyberjutsuaward winners at the HyperX Arena in the fabulous Luxor Hotel and Casino August 8th.

Over 100 cybersecurity professionals, heard Lisa Jiggetts, Founder and President tell the amazing story of why she started Women's Society of Cyberjutsu and highlight the major accomplishments from the previous year. Juliet "Jules" Okafor, SVP of Sales with Habitu8 rocked the mic with her awesome story telling and passion for women in cybersecurity as she announced the nominees and winners. 

Afterwhich, Mari Galloway, CEO and Founding Board member, and Mansi Thakar, COO announced a number of internal award winners, sharing stories heart felt stories of why each person was deserving of the award.

  • Special Volunteer Recognition: Dr. Crystal Williams, WSC 
  • Cyber Champion (New Category in 2020): Tyrone Wilson, Cover 6 Solutions
 

Thanks to sponsors, Palo Alto Networks, eCCouncil and INFOSEC, the evening was filled with fun, laughter, and celebration. It even played host to a cheering section adding even more fanfare to the amazing women being recognized in Vegas. The 6th Annual Cyberjutsu Awards was a special one as it marked the first time the event occurred in Las Vegas during a major conference week!
