Welcome to the WSC Cyber Competition Page where you get all the competition news!

January 3, 2020

Our cyber competition survey is still going strong with 120 responses so far. Congratulations to Katie Paxton-Fear for winning the second free WSC membership! Here's a summary of some of the results:
  • Most respondents are located in North America, but we also received responses from almost every continent!

  • Levels of cybersecurity experience ranged from 24% of respondents identifying as brand-new to the field to 11% who consider themselves experienced professionals. Of course we know women typically underestimate their level of knowledge and expertise...

  • 62% of respondents have competed in a cyber competition and 38% percent have not. Looks like we have some mentoring to do this year!
