The information technology field, alone, is in high demand with low supply. There is even a higher demand for professionals in information security. Women hold 56% of all professional jobs in the U.S. workforce, but only 25% of IT jobs (ncwit.org). Of that, women represent a little over 25% in Information Security (ISC2).
