Our Mission

Founded in 2012, the Women’s Society of Cyberjutsu (WSC) is a National 501(c)3 non-profit community, focused on empowering women to succeed in the cybersecurity industry. WSC’s mission is to advance women in cybersecurity careers by providing programs and partnerships that promote hands-on training, networking, education, mentoring, resource-sharing and other professional opportunities.

Our History
  • The Women's Society of Cyberjutsu (WSC) aka Cyberjutsu, one of the 1st nonprofits dedicated to bring more women into cyber, was founded in 2012 by Lisa Jiggetts, former Air Force Veteran and artist. 
  • Cyberjutsu was created to address the gender gap in the cybersecurity industry and to provide a supportive community for women interested in cybersecurity.
  • Lisa Jiggetts was inspired to start the organization after attending cybersecurity conferences and meetups and noticing the lack of women in attendance.
  • Cyberjutsu offers a variety of programs and resources, including training and certification courses, mentorship opportunities, networking events, a career center, and leadership development.
  • The organization has a membership base of over 3500 women from around the world.
  • In addition to supporting individual women in the field, the WSC also works to promote diversity and inclusion within the cybersecurity industry as a whole, through strategic partnerships.
Our Leadership Team

The Cyberjutsu Leadership is a group of individuals working to make the cyber and tech industry more inclusive and equitable for all. Members of the leadership team are entrepreneurs, managers, CEO's, mentors, advocates, and more. In 2022, we welcomed Victor Malloy to the board recognizing the importance of having ally's working with us.
